The Idea That Can Change The World

If you have the will to do anything, you will be able to do it. I always question this statement; however I used to get the answer at times that you can. And within no time I will get the answer, “There is nothing beyond fate”. I am not equivocating or at the same time I am not deliberately ambiguous. Again I don’t want to state those people, whose lives are extraordinary and I don’t want to set them as an example for everyone. Like Ramanjan – maths genius who solved the questions on the floor for thousands of meters or Abraham Lincoln who used tree plates as the means of notes. Also not Lal Bahadur Shastri, who swam river to undergo his education at child level. These examples are too good to read but in realm its too difficult to set as example for simple lives. However, certainly the people of our nation who live in rural India, certainly has the vision of achieving something. However the circumstances and the traditions that they follow blindfold them and make them unable to fulfill their dreams. I am happy with the recent times, where the world has become a global village and people have access to all kinds of information.

Everyone knows how to make our world beautiful in their minds. Certainly this can only be done with education and manifesting its true essence. However we have been trying to achieve this in many aspects since last 60 years and failing to make it happen. The reason is, the teachers and the beaurocrats behind this dream are not working as needed but only for their selfish reasons. Certainly we cannot change the way how they work, however there is a possibility to change things. One such possibility is this.

Our villages have many people who are educated till 12th standard. They just sit at home without doing much in terms of anything. With my experience whatever I had with my cousins, they certainly have the fire to achieve something. With little motivation from their brothers or husbands (In case of women) then can really do it. The relevance with respect to education can be manifested as follows. When they are ready to get educated, they can undergo their graduation in any Open University. Those who are educated well enough can help them in informing the dates about the course. We can educate them about the cost of the courses and how to prepare, which won’t take more than few hours. Once they complete their graduation, It’s not difficult for them to get a B.Ed degree from a near by town. Once they complete their B.Ed by providing few training programmes, we can train them as good teachers. These are the people who really want to do something in its true sense. So they certainly take the challenge and will become a true pedagogy.

I think the number is not limited in villages. We can easily find 10-15 such people. If all of them can do that, then villages certainly won’t lack good faculty for children till 10th standard. By establishing a school with values, we can certainly give education which manifests character rather than money making. This certainly needs faculty with very good experience. By providing with necessary facilities in the village or School, we can request people from that village or nearby to help the school (those who worked for 20 years and want to do something certainly take up this). Having them at our place, who are really dedicated for this programme, and has full liberty to do things as they wish, help the school in all commercial aspects. They can prepare certain standards, material which can be commercialized so that it can help the school to establish its financial base.

This programme certainly has some pros and cons. However getting dedicated staff for education can certainly be achieved with a programme like this and can help our nation a better place.
