Why Arts are losing their significance

Arts have been the spirit of nature since long. They started losing significance in the last few decades. In the era of machines, computers and automation man forgot to enjoy the real beauty of nature and started getting entertained with the electromagnetic signals which roam around him since his inception. Now man forgot the true meaning of happiness and started buying it in bunches through artificial means. He is too eager to earn money and has become too busy in spending it on material pursuits. So he often does things irrationally and tries to reclaim happiness.

The sphere of life needs the elements of nature to participate in its harmony. The more you escape the more you deceive yourself. You will go far from reality and start living in a virtual world where you feel reality as just an imagination. That is what is happening in the current world. People are too far from happiness and they are seeking for virtual happiness, which actually does not exist.

It is important to live in harmony and enjoy the nature. Sitting within glass walls, speaking on phone with people beside you and communicating through chat windows is the life that we are living. We were given everything to use but are finding alternatives for the senses and are proud of our inventions while letting ourselves unfit to use the real organs for the future. India is the centre for arts and a symbol of culture. I believe arts are losing their significance because of the above things. Earlier arts were respected by Emperors, Kings and big people who helped the progress of arts at each and every level and promoted them. Now arts became commercial and the commercial angle is too difficult for something like these where it cannot be nurtured in that manner. So the western music which people can just hear and jump is leading the world, leaving the classical music in ruins. Normal man cannot understand the classical music to appreciate it, however western music makes him tap his leg and amuses him after his work. Of course there are things which can amuse common man, however the ratio is very less. I just want to state this because of self pity that I felt in an occasion. When I went to a function I am unable to appreciate "Mrudangam" and didn't find how to take it.

So, People must live in reality and should learn what needs to be learned at right time to appreciate what to be appreciated without any excuses. I know self pity is one of the worst things in the world and I look forward to help myself whatever and how much I can.
