The Five People that you meet in Heaven

The Five People that you meet in Heaven is a novel by Mitch Albom. I loved the theme of the novel “Every end is a new beginning”. Unlike everyone in the first few pages the protagonist “Edward” will die and the story begins here. He will meet 5 different people in heaven and they explain him what heaven means and what people do there and how they feel in heaven. Those five people directly or indirectly changed the way he lives on earth. One by saving him from the accident, other sacrificing himself for him, one lady sharing his father’s feelings, his wife and a young girl who dies when he burns a hut. And each explains the reason why they were in his life and what difference it made for him. The way Mitch tells “There is reason for everyone in your life” is really cool. For each person who Eddie meet makes you feel “what happens next” , however like normal novels , you will miss the feel factor of suspense at the end as this novel didn’t give any such climax for you. It is as simple as it is at the beginning

The concept is really good and entertaining, however the feel factor or you call punch factor is missing. Book is very small and you can complete in train may be in 4-5 hrs depending on your reading speed.
